Shoni is a theatrical costume designer and maker approaching a decade in the industry. Her work has been featured on the BBC, at Hampton Court Palace, and in London's West End.

Shoni specialises in historical design but throughout her career has been passionate about ‘historical fusion’ the combination of historical garments with modern themes and textiles.

In 2014 she began developing her debut avant guarde collection - ‘The Art of Queening’

She describes her work as ‘“storytelling in excess” and insists “I'm all about layers and symbology - for me its all in the detail”

Shoni lives and works in her studio in South West London which she shares with her partner and cat. Neither are good at sewing.
